Dear Lakewood Little League Families:

Rynerson Parking:  Please make sure to leave adequate time to find parking at or around Rynerson Park on game days.  We know that parking is tight, so consider parking along Studebaker Rd (when the lot is full).  The City of Lakewood and the Lakewood Sheriff’s Department are enforcing the “No Parking” regulations in the lot and issuing citations.  Parking is not allowed in the dirt area near the restrooms; nor can you pull up your vehicle to the North field.  Please be considerate of all the work the City and our League has invested to improve the area around each field.

Team Sponsorships Due March 30:  Just a quick reminder that all teams are responsible for turning in $500 in sponsorship by March 30th.  Wendy Mullins will be at Rynerson Park (middle field) on March 30 from 1:30-4:30 to collect from teams.  You can contact Wendy at lakewoodsponsorships@gmail.com if you need to make other arrangements to drop off sponsorship prior to this date.  No team pictures will be passed out to your team until your sponsorship money has been turned in.

The sponsorship letter is on our website, www.lakewoodlittleleague.org if you want to send it to a potential sponsor.

Snack Shack sign ups:  Sign up for your two required Snack Shack shifts now.  After you complete your two shifts/player, you will receive your $80 deposit back.  If we do not have a volunteer to “grill” during each shift, we will not be able to grill hot dogs or hamburgers.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0a44aea62eaaff2-snack

Save the Date – May 5:  Family Fun Day is around the corner on Sunday, May 5.  Each team will organize their won potluck.  The League will organize fun activities for the kids and host an adult softball tournament and adult home run derby.  Each team will be responsible for creating a $100 gift basket for the League raffle.  More details can be found on our Facebook page.

Save the Date – May 23:  We will travel as a League to the CSULB Dirtbags game on Thursday, May 23.  The League will receive $2 from each ticket sold. More details can be found on our Facebook page.

Sincerely,

Lakewood Little League Board of Directors
