Dear Lakewood Little League Families:

Welcome back from Spring Break!  Games resume tomorrow, April 27, at Rynerson Park.  

FAMILY FUN DAY – MAY 5:  Family Fun Day is next Sunday, May 5 from 9 am to 4 pm.  Each team will organize their own potluck, so check in with your team parent. The League will organize fun activities for the kids and host an adult softball tournament and home run derby. Each team is responsible for creating a $100 gift basket for the League raffle.  There will also be a Homemade Salsa contest and an EZ Up/Pop up decorating contest.  More details will be sent out on Monday.  

TEAM SPONSORSHIPS: Thank you to the following teams who brought in more than the required $500 team sponsorship. Your team mom will be given a check with the following amounts for your team party! Thank you for your support of Lakewood Little League as we work to improve the fields and facilities at Rynerson Park.

CSULB DIRTBAGS GAME – May 23:  We will travel as a League to the CSULB Dirtbags game on Thursday, May 23.  The League will receive $2 from each ticket sold. More details can be found on our Facebook page.  

50/70 INTERMEDIATE DIVISION:  We are developing a Lakewood Little League 50/70 Intermediate division for players ages 11-13.  This division runs CONCURRENTLY with our existing teams.  To prepare for this division, we are holding weekly skills clinics for any Lakewood player age 7 and above. This Sunday, April 28, we will meet at Rynerson at 4:30 pm. Join us and find out more information. Feel free to contact coach Danny ( with any specific questions you my have.
