Family Fun Day 2018 is next Sunday, May 6th from 9am-4pm at Rynerson Park. Arrive early for a fun filled day! All are welcome to attend and you can invite aunts, uncles, and grandparents too!
What do I bring?
Bring your EZups, tables, lawnchairs, blankets, bikes, wiffle balls, gloves with your name on it, suntan lotion, and scooters too!
How does the potluck work?
Each team sets up their own potluck. We have seen everything from pizza, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, fruit, veggies, chips, dips, corn dogs, baked potato bar, cookies, cake, brownies, candy, tuna casserole, etc. Some teams pitch in and have a local restaurant cater the team's food. Make sure to bring your own drinks too! Please remember that there are no grills allowed in Rynerson Park, and there are no outlets that can be used. The Snack Bar will be closed that day so please plan ahead.
When is our team raffle basket due?
Team Family Fun Day Raffle Baskets are due now! In the past we have seen themed baskets around: Angels, Dodgers, BBQ, Beer, Wine, Legos, Baseball equipment, KindleFire, Spa Day, Lottery tickets, Movie Night, Date Night, Homemade items, and much more. We encourage creativity J Raffle tickets will be sold on Family Fun Day for $1 each. There will also be a 50/50 raffle on the day of the event.
Our coordinator Sarah Rubio has asked that team baskets be dropped off as follows: Saturday, April 28 from 9 am to 4pm at Snack Bar; Sunday, April 29, from 10-11 am at Snack Bar, or Saturday, May 5 from 9 am to 4pm at Snack Bar.
How do I enter the Chili Cook off?
If your team has any parents that would like to participate, please have them go the snack shack and sign up on the chili cook off sign up sheet. We are only accepting 8 entries so those interested should inquire immediately. First prize will receive free baseball registration for their child for the 2019 season!!
How do we enter a team for the Softball Tournament?
Every year we have an adult softball tournament, and boy do we have fun! Get your teams together! Entrance fee is $50 per team. Double elimination format. We hope to start the tournament at 10 am, depending on number of teams entered.
Only parents, grandparents, coaches, and adult siblings of LLL players are eligible to play! Teams must have a minimum of 2 women on the team and you must be at least 18 to participate. If you do not have enough players, you can combine forces with another team. The tournament winner wins money for their end-of-the-year team party!

How do I enter the Home Run Derby?
Calling all heavy hitters! Entry is $5 per person. Winner takes all! This will be scheduled in between the adult softball tournament. If you are interested in entering, please contact Amy Van Fossen at 714-906-1220 by this Sunday, April 29.
Where do I drop off my cake walk donation?
If each team could donate at least 1 store bought cake or pastry for the cake walk, that would be AWESOME! Donations can be dropped off on Saturday, May 5th at snack bar between 9 am to 4pm or brought on the morning of the event. All donations are greatly appreciated.
What activities will you have for our players?
We will have Laser Tag, Airbrush tattoos, Water balloon toss, Photo booth, Cake walk, Pie eating contest, Lego table and more! Many kids ride their bikes, scooters and skateboards around, play wiffle ball, and just run around.
