Dear Lakewood Little League Volunteers:
Thank you for volunteering to serve our children as Managers, Coaches, and Team Parents. Our league is only successful with your help. We greatly appreciate your time and commitment.
A couple of things that need to be completed before the season starts for ALL Managers, Coaches, and Team Parents -
1. Complete and submit the attached Volunteer Application to Lily Camberos, our Safety Officer, at email@example.com You may have submitted an "old version" of this form. This year's form requires the submission of a SSN. So please resubmit it. You also need to send Lily a picture of your drivers license.
Yes, you have to submit the application every year.
2. Attend a Little League Safety class to get your Little League Safety Card
TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 - 6pm to 8pm Del Valle (Airplane) Park Meeting Room - 5939 Henrilee Street, Lakewood, CA 90713.
You MUST attend a Safety Class and have a Little League Safety Card to be on the field or in the dugout with your team. This is for practices and games. After completion, you will get a Safety Card. Cards are good for 3 years. Please attend this one if you can, as we have no guarantees on a second date,
3. Complete an an online Concussion Protocol training and submit your completion certificate to Lily at firstname.lastname@example.org
All these steps are Little League requirements. No exceptions. These documents are checked at post-regular season tournaments. So please get this done now.
