Lakewood Little League takes the safety of our players, families, volunteers, and spectators very seriously and makes it a top priority in everything we do. All coaches are required to complete a comprehensive five-certification safety training program that includes Sudden Cardiac Arrest awareness, concussion recognition and response, first aid, abuse prevention, and Little League leadership training. These requirements ensure our coaches are prepared to prevent injuries, respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, and provide a safe, positive environment for every participant.
